Deborah Howe (August 12, 1946 – June 3, 1978) was an American children's writer. She and her husband James Howe wrote two books, ''Bunnicula'' and ''Teddy Bear's Scrapbook'', but she died of cancer at age 31 before they were published in 1979 and 1980. She graduated from Boston University and worked as a theater actress before becoming a writer.
